Play The Room: Change Your Show Depending On Your Audience

It takes a lot of work to put together, what’s supposed to be, the most epic cam show ever. The planning and preparation for a big performance can take a while. Getting ready for a big show, especially a really long one, is tiring. But, it gets you so excited to finally go live and show off what you've been putting together. As much as you’d like to stick to your plans, you might not always be able to.

There may be times that your planned show isn’t what your room wants to see. As a cam model, you already know that your chat room is a revolving door of viewers. Your fans could be extra happy that you put something together for them, but there may be more demand to go off script.

When that happens, it’s time to “play the room” and organize your performance around your current audience. You can always go back to the original plan, but you should always be ready to change it up for other viewers who want something else. The more accommodating you are, the more tokens you’re likely to receive.

Be A Flexible Cam Model

In any show you do, be prepared to cater to any kind of audience. You can have a performance planned out, but don’t hold too tight to the idea of only doing what you prepared for.

If you make yourself available to switch it up, you’ll be able to accommodate a much larger audience. Have a mindset that’s ready to change around your show and stay energetic while doing something you lose. As your viewers come and go, you can work your way back into what you got ready for the day.

Just be flexible when it comes to entertaining people who want something that you didn’t necessarily plan to do in that show. If it’s something you’re okay doing, then you might want to be accommodating. You’ll build long term fans if you change up a show—even for just one person.

Tokens Are Yours Only When Spent

Remember, if you don’t give a show that a lot of people would want to enjoy, then you’re losing out on a wider range of viewers. A well thought out show is awesome for fans who already love watching a specific model. They can even do well with new viewers in the room. However, more often than not, you’ll have to work around some of the people watching you. Be prepared to move away from your plan in order to make your viewers happy.

More happy viewers means more tokens spent in your room overall. Just because they have them in their account doesn’t mean a cam fan will tip you. Tokens are not yours until they’re given to you. Models who don’t cater to a wide range of audiences hinder their ability to convince new, potential spenders to send a few tokens. Cam models, if you entertain based off of who’s watching you, then you might see an increase in the amount of tokens that become yours.
